Collection: Landscapes

I am new to landscapes and to mastering multiple shades and hues of the colour green.  My grandfather, the architect, was a firm believer that artists do not need more than the primary colours in their paint box.  Any other colours were frivolous and demonstrated a lack of skill and perseverance.  Technically, he is correct, but, while his words still mean that it is difficult for me to buy green paint, I do find it helps to have different shades of yellow and blue when you need to mix a plethora of greens – definitely required when you are recreating the north European countryside.
